Hello world!

Welcome to our blog!  One of our resolutions for 2009 was to create a blog.  A lot of our clients seem to be interested in what happens behind the scenes at our studio, so we decided to create an informal blog to keep everyone updated!  Now that it is already the Jan 13th, we better get started! 

The coolest thing that we’ve done so far in 2009 (and it was REALLY cool) was to trek to Las Vegas and attend the SPA Event.  Senior Portrait Artists hosts the event.  They invite the BEST senior portrait photographers anywhere to get together and exchange ideas, pass along tips for better photography and discuss anything to do with senior portrait photography.  We are big on improving our talents at Bender Photography.  Going to events like this keeps us on top of our photography and helps us to create the cutting edge images that we want to provide for our clients.   

Many of the photographers that we rubbed elbows with are my Facebook friends.  If you are interested, you can see who they are. Just become one of my Facebook friends.  Search for John Bender (I’m in the Scranton network and I’m not the John Bender character from the Breakfast Club movie) Then you can poke around and see what my professional photographer friends are producing for their clients.  It’s like a backstage pass in the photo business! And let me tell you, some of it is REALLY cool
